2. Brock Lesnar

The first time around, Brock Lesnar hadn't exactly been a friendly kind of character.

From 2002-2004, he stormed out of the gates as one of WWE's biggest success stories, but time away from the promotion actually served him well. From 2004-2012, Lesnar became one of the world's most potent fighting machines.

Winning the UFC Heavyweight Championship, Brock became one of the most intimidating men on the planet. A WWE return had been intermittently discussed for a few years before it happened, but there was still shock when he appeared on Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania XXVIII.

Attacking WWE poster boy John Cena, Lesnar now carried more credibility with him than ever before. Perception now was that Brock had been able to prove himself in the legitimate fighting world of UFC, and that only made him more marketable to WWE.

Dubbed 'The Beast', Lesnar more than lived up to that billing. His matches during his latest WWE run have been more realistic than before, hard-hitting and uncompromising are both words that could be used to describe the guy.

He's the very definition of badass.
