12 WWE Stars Who Left And Returned More Bad Ass
7. Viscera
Nelson Frazier Jr can be used to effectively display the differences between the WWF in 1995 and the same company in 1999.
During his first run in the organisation, Frazier played the part of Mabel, a large tag-team performer who donned purple and gold attire. He was part of the passé 'Men On A Mission' duo with Mo.
Later, management tried to push Mabel to the moon, even booking him to win the 1995 King Of The Ring tournament. That shunt up the ladder didn't work, audiences simply didn't accept Mabel as a headliner. He was released in 1996, and the next time WWF fans would see him would be remarkably different.
Kidnapped during the 1999 Royal Rumble by members of The Ministry Of Darkness, Frazier soon morphed into Viscera. Now with a more gothic look, including lipstick and some evil-looking contact lenses, the mountain of a man looked genuinely frightening.
This switch reinvigorated his entire career, and Viscera was infinitely better suited to the 'Attitude Era' than Mabel would have ever been.
