12 WWE Stars Who Left And Returned More Bad Ass

4. Scott Steiner

Regardless of his assertions that his mullet was "hot" during a recent Q&A tour of the UK, Scott Steiner's old look was definitely dated. Had he rolled into WWE towards the tail end of 2002 sporting the hairdo, it's unlikely that anybody would have deemed him badass.

Thankfully, Steiner had updated his look successfully during the late 90s in WCW. Looking to establish himself as a top singles performer, Scott cut his long hair, dyed it blonde and began referring to himself by wacky nicknames like the 'Big Bad Booty Daddy'.

Suddenly, the accomplished tag wrestler was now a standalone star oozing coolness and machismo.

WWE fans hadn't seen Steiner in the company since 1994 when he made his return in 2002. Complete with the fresh look and his bulging muscles, he interrupted a throwaway segment between Christopher Nowinski and Matt Hardy at the Survivor Series.

Swearing, posing and looking like the man, Steiner had completely changed his character and the fans responded positively. No longer was he a stoic wrestling machine, he was now an ultra-charismatic superstar.
