9. Becky Lynch Vs. Natalya

Becky Lynch celebrated a year of 'The Man' by opening SummerSlam 2019, but as evidenced in her similar spot against Lacey Evans at Stomping Grounds, it's no longer such a poisoned position.

The crowd were red hot for the pair on a night that could have potentially seen them overshadowed by the other 'Canada Vs Current Star' on the card.

The duelling "Let's Go Becky"/"Becky Sucks" chants that followed the pair brawling to the floor and a sh*thot Sharpshooter-around-the-post sequence highlighted that the build had been broadly successful at least, especially when Lynch locked on the Sharpshooter.

Fans didn't bite as much on Natalya's Disarm-Her attempts, but they popped big for her locking her Sharpshooter shortly afterwards.

The contest concluded when Becky completed the sequence of solid reversals with her own finisher for the win. Perfunctory at points but not unenjoyable, this was an almighty step forward for the Champion - her reign has been in desperate need of a performance of this quality.
