9. Too Good For This Universe

This spellbinding triple threat Tag Team Title match went 12 minutes, which is about four longer than your writer imagined they'd be given and seemingly about the same the wrestlers didn't quite budget for considering how many spots they worked to jam into their dynamic display.

Comparisons to the Hardys/Dudleys/Edge & Christian trio are currently apt, not least because of the pay-per-view's very name and origins, but these grippings groups may be closer to forming something a SmackDown Seven rather than the Attitude Era six.

WWE have had magic in any combinations of these teams for two full years now. The Bar surprisingly dethroned The New Day in a December 2016 Tag Team Title switch and proved their worth as record-breakers by becoming every bit as deadly and drilled as Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods. At the same time over on SmackDown Live, The Usos were rewriting their legacy following a heel turn that allowed their matches to get plaudits that had been overdue.

Evidently, little has thus changed for any of the men, but in an organisation as fractious and fragile as WWE, they're probably all happy to stick rather than twist. The entire fanbase certainly is.
