8. Hold Armless Agreement

Braun Strowman's plan to ensure Baron Corbin got what he deserved was sound enough in kayfabe terms, though surrounding himself with yet more dweebs (more on his previous lot later) doesn't exactly return 'The Monster Among Men' to the level he once occupied ahead of his third crack at Brock Lesnar.

After two failed efforts in which he should have tamed 'The Beast', enough time's passed that it seems almost wasteful to have Brock capitulate before WrestleMania just three months later. The humbled Strowman here was a spectator by design, but nothing makes a supposed threat look less of a one than being booked to stand and grin as the lamest gang this side of Lucha House Party took turns assaulting a weak-sauce McMahon underling.

There's a good reason all these supposed authority figures are figures without authority, too. Unless your surname's McMahon, forget any f*cking protection. The flagship's recent decline is quite literally Vince's fault, and the mad b*stard is still scripting it as Corbin's and - brilliantly - pitching himself as the magic solution yet again. Not a match, and not a disaster, but not the remedy needed to cure Monday Night Raw, this was a means to end on a show that never does. Figure that out if you can, because WWE can't.
