4. Spiking The Punch

Fair f*cking play to Nia Jax.

She takes a lot of grief on this and every other wrestling website for reasons that are often justified, but she had an important role to play at TLC and - like the great heels - offered out grand catharsis everywhere it was required.

Not content to let Ronda Rousey steal the headlines yet again for being absolutely amazing again (and more on that in a line's time), Jax balanced her physical dominance with a tangible fear and willingly gave her facebreaker gimmick up to the Raw Women's Champion's devastating arm bar. She did the same for Becky Lynch afterwards too, but this wasn't the teasing vignette that provided fodder for the finish.

That came from 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet's own promise to get revenge on Charlotte, buoyant as she was for yet another pay-per-view triumph in a year overspilling with them. 2018 was - without debate - the year of Rousey in WWE. Toasting the last supercard of the calendar being one of the best with a main event cameo was the least she deserved for another powerful performance.
