12 WWE WrestleMania 35 Card Predictions After Survivor Series 2018
2. Retirement Match: The Undertaker Vs. Kane
The Undertaker is falling apart. It's been happening for years, before our eyes, and it's getting sad. We don't need to see this cherished wrestling institution sully his legacy with more fragile performances like those put forth in 2018, but while only he can decide if it's time to say "goodbye," it's a distinct possibility for WrestleMania 35.
Shawn Michaels, John Cena, or a healthy Triple H (unlikely) would work as opposition. Why make it a single retirement bout, though? Why not through another ageing monster into the mix and put both Brothers Of Destruction out the pasture in one last sports entertainment showcase? Kane's character could never have existed without The Undertaker. He's the ideal man to face his kayfabe brother on the way out, and vice versa.
Recent form suggests a turgid bout, but Kane and 'Taker would have the crowd on their side regardless. Their goodwill is immortal. Both have earned a farewell bout on the biggest possible stage, and the fans knowing that this would be the last time they'll ever see them compete should create an incredible atmosphere on the night.
