12 WWE WrestleMania 35 Card Predictions After Survivor Series 2018
8. United States Title: Rey Mysterio (c) Vs. Samoa Joe Vs. AJ Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
WWE's United States Title booking is rubbish at the moment. Nakamura is a talented, popular guy, and so are his potential challengers, yet he's lucky to make television most weeks. The man has become an afterthought, and the belt is but a prop on his shoulder.
It's a shame, because this could be an exciting division. Sadly, WWE just aren't on board, and there's little reason to believe this will change before WrestleMania 35.
This leads to the conclusion that the writers will simply gather together any big names without anything else to do. Adopting this mindset leads us to Rey Mysterio, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, and Nakamura contesting the belt in New Jersey.
These four have the potential to deliver an awesome four-way, though they'd likely be restricted to just 10 minutes somewhere on the midcard. Still, it's hard to imagine this combination wetting the bed. Each has exorbitant amounts of goodwill with the crowd, and while their participation is totally arbitrary, perhaps they'd defy expectations.
A lengthy Andrade 'Cien' Almas reign culminating in a big 'Mania singles match would be ideal, of course, but it doesn't look like WWE are interesting in pushing him.
