7. Shane McMahon Vs. John Cena

Shane McMahon is absolutely getting a showcase match at WrestleMania 35. Complaining is futile, because Vince will keep booking his son in spots like this regardless, and after 'Mania 32's horrendous Undertaker bout, a marked improvement vs. AJ Styles at 33, and this year's tag match (in which Shane was a secondary figure) in the rearview, WWE will definitely put something together with the SmackDown Commissioner in mind.

A singles clash with Daniel Bryan had been pegged. That went down the drain when Shane's former General Manager turned heel on AJ Styles, leaving WWE with the challenge of finding something else. Enter John Cena.

The 16-time World Champion is approaching the twilight of his career (if he isn't already in it), and doesn't need a huge 'Mania bout anymore. He is effectively a big-name spot-filler. On top of this, he's a great guy to guide McMahon to an acceptable 'Mania clash, and while this bout wouldn't feature anywhere near your 'Match Of The Year' ballot, perhaps Cena's Sports Entertainment mastery and Shane's penchant for car crash stunts would manifest a fun spectacle.
