13 Current WWE Superstars Destined For The Hall Of Fame

1. The Undertaker

4-time WWE Champion 3-time World Heavyweight Champion 2007 Royal Rumble Winner 21-0 at Wrestlemania Out of the list of superstars that has been put together, none deserve the honour of being inducted into the Hall of Fame more than The Undertaker. The Phenom has been in the WWE since 1990, and whilst many of those in-the-know would have suggested that his gimmick had only a few years in it, his ability to adapt and change his character to best fit the time has made him an eternal favourite. Now, the respect and reputation that he has built with both the fans and the rest of the superstars is the driving force of his continued presence in the company after over two decades. When Undertaker finally decides to hang up his boots, it will send shockwaves throughout the WWE, as the one wrestler that could link matches with Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior to action against CM Punk and The Shield he has seen so many changes in the company. And yet he has withstood it all, seen every other superstar come and go, and remains the timeless classic in the eyes that all that love professional wrestling. It would take an age to do justice to the career of Undertaker, so it would probably best just to stick to the highlights. He is a multi-time world champion, with his first and final reigns coming nearly two decades apart. Undertaker has one of the most chilling and recognisable entrances in the history of wrestling. His character was the driving force behind the creation of the Casket Match, the Buried Alive Match, and the Hell in the Cell. His success is directly responsible for the debut of Kane. And there of course is the small matter that he is undefeated at Wrestlemania after 21 matches, which has seen him beat the very best the business has to offer (and in the case of Giant Gonzales, the worst as well). Despite the fact that he is approaching fifty, and that he has now been forced to take up a limited schedule, his matches always attract an air of anticipation unlike any other. And it is not for the novelty, as even in his advanced years, his matches are some of the best that have happened in recent memory. He has had memorable feuds and tremendous matches with the best the business has provided; Hogan, Warrior, Savage, Flair, Mankind, Austin, Kane, Rock, HHH, Angle, Batista, Orton, Cena, Edge, Jericho, Punk have all competed in great spectacles with the Dead Man. But, his series against Shawn Michaels demonstrated that they were two of the best of all time with the excitement and passion that they put into the near perfect match. The Undertaker not only deserves to Rest in Peace within the Hall of Fame; his induction should be the biggest and most celebrated ever. A man that defied the years and earned the highest degree of respect from his peers should be honoured in the most spectacular fashion for the decades that he has given his blood and sweat to entertain the fans.
