2. John Cena
11-time WWE Champion 2-time World Heavyweight Champion 2008 & 2013 Royal Rumble Winner 3-time United States Champion There is always one wrestler that stands above all others as the face of the whole company. Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock have all held these roles at some point or another. And, in 2002, an open invitational match against Kurt Angle saw the launch of the next in this exclusive club. John Cena almost shocked Angle, and would continue to impress with a victory over Chris Jericho. However, it took a transition into a brash, rapping heel to cause the audience to take notice. His lyrics were a little cringe-worthy, but he got over with the crowd for his delivery and feuds with top Smackdown superstars such as Angle, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. This would mean that his heel days would end in 2003, and as of yet he has not returned to the dark side. By 2005 he was the hottest property in the business, and his impressive feats of strength lifting Big Show for an Attitude Adjustment and his the reaction that he garnered from the crowd meant that he was soon winning the WWE Championship. This was a passing of the torch, and as Cena was placed on the flagship show Raw, he was given the biggest platform to become the most must-see component of the WWE's line-up. Though he has often been portrayed as having a limited move-set with his dreaded Five Moves of Doom, his classic encounters against the likes of Edge, Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, Umaga and CM Punk have demonstrated an ability to perform at the highest level. But what makes Cena a sure-fire Hall of Famer and the face of the WWE is not his ring-work, his numerous championship reigns or his look. It is his relationship with the WWE audience. Cena is the most polarising figure in the history of the company, with the crowd divided as to loving and loathing him. But, every time he steps through the curtain, no matter how much he is dismissed by the Internet know-it-alls, he gets the biggest response of boos and cheers. He makes no bones about how much a certain section of the crowd disapproves of him, and it feeds his resolve. Cena responds and brings the crowd into the story in a way that very few others can. Despite not being the best wrestler, the most charismatic talker or the most believable actor, Cena will certainly be in the Hall of Fame for his love of the WWE and its fans, even if they are not fans of him.
