9. Christian
2-time World Heavyweight Champion 2-time ECW Champion 2-time NWA Champion 9-time World Tag Team Champion When he arrived on the scene in WWE, it seemed that Christian was merely a supplement to the emerging Brood stable alongside the de facto leader Gangrel and the up-and-coming Edge. In the storyline against the Ministry he was portrayed as the weak link. However, he soon became recognised as one of the greatest tag team wrestlers in WWE history alongside his best friend Edge. Their matches involving ladders and tables, the dreaded Conchairto finisher and their feuds with the Hardy Boyz and the Dudleys elevated them to two of the hottest properties in the company. The tag team division at their peak were producing the best matches night in and night out, and it was often due to their fearless attitude towards high risk and potential pain. Eventually though, he began to pursue his own path away from his ex-partner, and while he experienced success as a multi-time Intercontinental Champion, he was never able to break into the main event scene in the same manner that Edge did. However, he continued to give stellar performances every match he competed with, his alliance and feud with Chris Jericho and his matches with Rob Van Dam particular highlights. This even brought him some good fan support, despite his heel persona, as he developed his own fan group of 'Peeps'. But, in 2005 he decided to leave the company for pastures new, and was finally able to climb to the top of the mountain in TNA, where he left a two-time NWA Champion. Nevertheless, in 2009 he returned to become the old guard in ECW, which was transitioning to become a home for young talent. To test this talent, Christian won the ECW Championship from Jack Swagger and would readily face any challenge for at the time one of the most hotly contested championships on the roster. Following the demise of ECW, Christian eventually found a home on the Smackdown brand, and would compete in a few high-profile matches before an injury kept him out of competition. But, when he returned, his friend Edge was forced to relinquish the World Heavyweight title due to injury, and this gave Christian the opportunity many believed would never come, as he won the championship fittingly in a ladder match. Whilst that reign was short-lived, it helped launch Christian into the main event scene, with his feud against Randy Orton providing some of the best matches of 2011. His perseverance and talent should leave no doubt in anybody's mind that he will eventually join Edge as a member of the Hall of Fame.
