13 Greatest Wrestling Trios Ever

9. The Dudley Boyz

The Dudleys are a family whose wars with each other are almost as well known and fondly remembered as their matches with other teams. But in 2001, Bubba Ray, D'Von and Spike united to wage war with Edge, Christian and Rhyno, and the Hardy Boyz and Lita in the build to the epic TLC 2 at WrestleMania X-Seven. While his older half brothers were the brawn, Spike was the heart, proving resilient no matter how much pain and suffering he endured. Together, the threesome were clear babyfaces in wars with the aforementioned tandems, as well as the Holly cousins and X-Factor. When Spike started a relationship with Molly Holly, a schism was created between the brothers that led to the much smaller sibling becoming the whipping boy of the family. The trio split, reuniting some two years later amid a war with Frenchmen La Resistance. Then in 2004. the Dudley Boyz took a backseat to little brother Spike, who made a questionable heel turn and became SmackDown's lead cruiserweight villain. Whether babyfaces or heels, the family proved that they work so much better together than apart, earning themselves a spot in these rankings.
