13 More Interpromotional Dream Wrestling Matches We Must See

6. Tomohiro Ishii (NJPW) Vs. Rusev (WWE)

You know what's always a good time? Two guys, approximately the shape and size of Volkswagen Beetles, hitting each other as hard as possible for 8-10 minutes. Luckily, hitting people as hard as possible is the shared specialty of the Stone Pitbull and the Bulgarian Brute. Both men are also known for dominant reigns as secondary champions: Rusev demolished countless challengers for his US Championship, while Ishii is a record-breaking 4-time NEVER Openweight Champion as well as the current ROH TV champ. The tale of the tape is where things get interesting. While Ishii€™s height and weight make him a powerhouse in Japan, he's a cruiserweight compared to the 300 pound Rusev. Of course, sheer size isn't all that matters; Rusev has only been wrestling since 2008, while Ishii has been busting fools€™ brains since 1996 (!). Is Ishii's experience enough to outlast the onslaught that is Rusev? What Should Happen: An extended strike-trading sequence leading up to a leaping superkick and an Accolade for the win.
