5. Cage & The Mack (LU) Vs. Apollo Crews & Samoa Joe
In a lot of ways, 2015 was the year of, wait, how is that large man doing that?, and the Mount Rushmore of confusingly athletic large men are well-represented here. In NXT, Samoa Joe is back to peak form and Apollo Crews hasn't come close to unleashing his full potential. In Lucha Underground, Cage and The Mack became standouts by throwing topés like 180 lb cruiserweights (and killing each other with a building). Joe and Mack are both acrofatic, while Cage and Crews are power wrestlers who can also fly. In terms of experience, the teams are somewhat even: Mack and Cage both have about a decade of pro graps under their belts, while Joes 16 years are offset by Crews 6. Also, even though Cage recently turned face, having him play heel here would make things much more interesting. This unique mixture of physical gifts, brand loyalty, and interpersonal rivalry should prove explosive. What Should Happen: Miscommunication leads to a brawl in which the teams break down and the faces send the heels packing.
