2. Payoffs Are Going To Be LOOOOOWWWW...
One of the biggest reasons why CM Punk's only professional fight of 2015 (worked or otherwise) is going to be in UFC's octagon is because for the second year in a row, the Wrestlemania payoffs (in some cases, even with bonuses) will be 1/6th as big as they were three years ago. The WWE is in a terrible financial situation that in roughly less than five years will actually not be so terrible anymore. Shifting their entire business model to a digital and mobile-led ideal is difficult because it means that streams of revenue change and getting numbers back up where they once were requires other industries to accept the models that they're using to guide their business aspirations. So, while watching Wrestlemania, realize that say, the seven guys in the ladder match are going to get these bonus checks that aren't really going to make the bumps they take feel as good as the bumps like, Edge and Christian, the Dudleys and The Hardys took fifteen years prior.
