13 Things We Learned From Vickie Guerrero On Talk Is Jericho
10. Working As A Heel
Jericho compliments Vickie on what an outstanding heel she was; all the other performers were jealous of "Vickie Guerrero heat". She says that she loved being a bad guy much more because keeping the crowd happy is so hard while it's much easier to p*ss people off. Chris tells her that Vince must have seen something in her, to which she replies she doesn't know what it was because she feels like she wasn't very good. Vickie says she never had a problem memorizing promos, and that what made her nervous was to perform well for the guys she was working with - to be on time and to do her job correctly, then she went home happy.. "When I started learning how to manipulate the crowd where the hated me, I loved it." Jericho says that during his heel run in 2008 he was happy because he had finally achieved the much-desire "Vickie heat." She responds that sometimes the truck would have to turn her mic up much louder so that she could be heard over the noise of the crowd. She credits Edge for being a big help teaching her important nuances like positioning and timing, calling him an angel. She said pretty soon they started working together so much that everything became instinctual and she was no longer scared, and loved all the ridiculous segments like food fights.
