13 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dynamite (Mar 18)

9. You What, Mate?

Colt Cabana Kip Sabian
AEW

Colt Cabana vs. Kip Sabian is happening; this was a clever way to set it up.

Tony Schiavone interviewed Cabana at ringside after the women's four-way. Calling himself the Bruce Springsteen of AEW, Colt put the women's division over and said that as impressive as Penelope Ford was, she'd be even better if she wasn't scheming with her boyfriend. Cue: Sabian stomping over, challenging Colt to a fight, and getting slapped right in the mush, establishing their beef.

'Superbad' may not have heard Cabana's words if not for the empty building, so this was a good way to use Dynamite's different environment to work an angle. On top of this, the match presents an interesting clash of personalities.
