13 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 3)

1. Sammy Guevara vs. Lee Johnson

Yeah, this ruled, and should probably have gone down on TNT.

Johnson's recent match with Ben Carter wasn't too far off the Englishman's acclaimed Scorpio Sky bout in terms of quality, and his new Nightmare Family affiliation means we can probably expect to see more matches like this going forward. He's great - and it's heartening to see his efforts have earned a bigger role.

Parity grappling gave way early on, with Sammy Guevara preening and posing when in control. Johnson answered this, mocking the Inner Circle man, and the matches unfolded thereafter, with Johnson getting a fair share of the shine all the way to the end.

Guevara took the victory and sent a message to PPV opponent Matt Hardy at the same time, finishing Lee off with a Twist of Fate.
