No ones ever been entirely sure what happened here. The original Youtube clips title says Batista Botches Backflip, but that doesnt look quite right. About to perform the Batista Bomb on John Cena, the Animal is suddenly interrupted by Mark Henry ambling furiously to ringside. As Batista discards Cena and rushes to intercept, the Worlds Strongest Man hops heavily onto the apron. The Animal punches Henry, who retaliates by shoving him back and Batista staggers, rights himself, and then performs a perfect back bump in the centre of the ring, for no reason whatsoever. If hed intended the bump to come about as a result of the shove but staggered instead, why did he bump anyway? If the bump was supposed to be for some other reason, then what on earth could it have been? At least if it had been R-Truth up there, the announcers could have blamed it on Lil Jimmy.
