13 Wrestlers Who Were Better In NJPW Than They Were In TNA

9. Lance Rock

Everybody dies. But not everyone has an easy time getting over in TNA.

Carrying a Guitar Hero controller with him to the ring, Lance was hardly a fixture in the tag team division in TNA, but when he landed in NJPW, he became just that, announcing his arrival with a dominating run in the G1 tag league with the notoriously badass Minoru Suzuki.

Archer would help Suzuki-Gun be a constant presence in NJPW's heavyweight tag division by forming Killer Elite Squad with Davey Boy Smith Jr. KES would be a perennial thorn in the side of other units like the Guerillas of Destiny, The War Raiders, and even Gallows & Anderson, winning the IWGP Heavyweight Tag belts on three separate occasion, and challenging for them on many more.

Lance would also balance his tag team accomplishments with singles success as well. He competed in the G1 a few times against the best and brightest of NJPW's singles division, like Tetsuya Naito, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Will Ospreay. Archer would also finally obtain some singles gold with a win over Juice Robinson to secure the IWGP United States title. He would go on to lose the belt in a chaotic Texas deathmatch against the Death Rider himself, Jon Moxley.

Presently, Archer has taken his talents to AEW, his stock having risen considerably thanks to his time in NJPW.
