13 WWE Theme Songs That Are Blatant Ripoffs

7. AJ Styles (DMX - No Sunshine)

Hilariously, when AJ Styles made his WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, many fans immediately assumed he was debuting to a new song from rapper DMX.

As it turned out, this wasn't the case, and it was instead a new CFO$ track entitled "Phenomenal."

But the stylistic similarity to DMX's 2001 song "No Sunshine" - itself a cover of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" - was picked up by many fans, especially with regard to its bass line (if you listen carefully).

It's just different enough to feel more like a tribute than a direct pilfering, though it's clearly indebted to DMX's vocal and musical style, and not-so-subtly invokes No Sunshine in particular.
