The Punk versus Itami dream match is built on one thing - the GTS. Punk stole the move from KENTA way back in the mid 2000's. Now that KENTA is with WWE, as Hideo Itami, he's having to deal with the fact that people think the GTS is a CM Punk move. He's yet to nail the move on NXT television, even though the audience are constantly roaring him on to do so. Itami has even joked on Twitter with Punk, pointing out things like he's "going to sleep" and at one point making a direct reference to Punk stealing the move. "He's a real comedian," he tweeted after Punk said he'd never steal someone's move. The angle is right there, the battle of the GTS, who can hit it first and take the win? Plus, both are great wrestlers, it would be a hell of a match. It's certainly the kind of thing the fans would want to see, and something that Punk would absolutely relish working.
