This will hopefully be the first of many.

Yes, Tony Khan doesn't usually book this way, and yes, there's a contradiction between this and the previous entry, but there's still so much to cover with Hobbs and Starks. This isn't yet as bitter as Jungle Boy vs. Christian Cage. A deep-rooted friendship was split apart when Hobbs turned on his Team Taz partner, but we're still weeks and months away from making this as personal as it can possibly be.

Which is why Hobbs should win.

Ricky proved himself a phenomenal babyface loser in Team Taz's failed attempts at becoming World Tag Team Champions, which spurred Hobbs' turn in the first place. His man mountain of an opponent should bully him, throw him around the ring, absorb some fiery comebacks, and ultimately take the win, whether clean or dirty.

Imagine the thunder of Hobbs' offense and the fire that will pour from Starks in the coming promos.

Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs
