14 Missed Opportunities In The Undertaker's WWE Career

7. The Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar At WrestleMania 19

The Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar was so very nearly booked at WrestleMania 19. It came about after Kurt Angle suffered aggravation with his previously broken neck, meaning that his proposed WWE title defence against Brock Lesnar at Mania 19 was in jeopardy. Medical checks confirmed the worst, Angle would need surgery and would have to miss Mania 19. Vince McMahon quickly figured out an alternative plan, pitting Brock Lesnar against The Undertaker. It was all but booked, with the buzz around the internet figuring Taker vs Lesnar was a 100% go. But Angle managed to force his match to go ahead, opting to take time out after Mania 19. As a result, The Undertaker missed out on a major pay spot and had to make do with an undercard match teaming with the abysmal Nathan Jones against The Big Show and A Train.
