14 Reasons 2015 Was The Worst Ever Year For WWE Creative

1. Vince McMahon

There's no where to else to put the blame. Vince micro-manages many aspects of the company and the creative department is no different. He approves everything that makes it on television, so if audiences are not happy with what they are seeing, and judging by the ratings they clearly aren't, who else should be held responsible? Triple H is able to run a compelling program every Wednesday night on the WWE Network with similar, yet fewer resources down in Orlando than McMahon has. There's no evil billionaire poaching Vince's talent that he can blame for a lack of star power these days. No government agency is breathing down his neck causing him to shift his focus off WWE. Surely, his company isn't in financial peril or suffering from a lack of assets or resources needed to help develop his talent and programming, yet still his television shows and stories remain poor. There is no valid reason why Vince McMahon should not be held accountable for the abysmal storytelling and creative campaign that the WWE has embarked upon in 2015. The results of which are still being felt and will likely continue to until radical changes take place internally, but don't hold your breath. Yes, there were years in the past when the WWE was less than good, but nothing can compare to the brutal year that was 2015.
