14 Things We Learned From Daniel Bryan On Talk Is Jericho

13. Returning To The Ring

Chris asks how it feels to be back and Bryan responds that it's weird, saying he's "never felt this run down before." He admits that he's been pushing it pretty hard since he returned but he's not sleeping well and his body isn't responding like he expected it to. He points out that the injury was his first real break from wrestling in his entire career, and he doesn't know if he's still in an adjustment process of getting back on track or if it's a side effect of surgery and getting older. Bryan said once he was cleared to start working out in the ring again the first bump he took at the Performance Center hit him pretty hard, something he hadn't experienced even when he was first starting out taking bumps in a much more unforgiving boxing ring at 18-years old.
