14 Things We Learned From Daniel Bryan On Talk Is Jericho

12. Trying To Fight Triple H

This story had been reported before but it's quite interesting to hear it straight from the horse's - or as JBL would say "goat's" - mouth. The gist of the story is that, while performing a suicide dive on Randy Orton during a Raw match in the summer of 2013 he suffered a stinger, causing the WWE brass to pull the plug on the bout early. Bryan, being someone who's very serious about his work took exception to the decision to stop the match and stepped to Triple H about it. Jericho says he saw the confrontation and takes credit for stopping the Total Divas camera crew from capturing it on film, warning that they'll "get their *ss kicked" if they intrude on the scene. He describes the two men face to face with Daniel yelling "Don't you ever stop my match!" Bryan says he was fueled by his pride as well as the knowledge that Hunter once finished a match with a torn quad, but that later on Brie and several other people told him it's a different time now and that he was completely in the wrong for his reaction. He acknowledges that he was but chalks it up to the way wrestlers are trained and how that never-say-die mentality is ingrained into them very early on.
