Many will be torn on the IWGP Tag Team Championship three-way that saw the Guerrillas of Destiny take on G.B.H (Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma) and CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii and Toru Yano). First things first, the match was a criminal waste of Ishii, one of the top performers on the entire roster. CHAOS had no real right to be in the match either, getting added purely because Yano returned from NOAH and stole the title belts.

Even so, this match was a whole lot of fun. The three-way format hurt the match, but the two teams that deserved to be in there (GoD and GBH) put in enough effort for it to be considered a success. CHAOS ended up picking up the win following typical Yano shenanigans, and whilst their win will anger some I could certainly get behind a decent CHAOS reign.

More importantly, how much cursing was their in this match? Tanga Roa in particular was guilty of possessing an immense potty mouth, 'effin and jeffin' his way through the match from beginning to end. Roa hit more swear words than he did moves, and Tama and Makabe weren't far behind. Steve Corino lost it on commentary, and this may well have been a time where too much was too much.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
