14 Things You Might Have Missed From Last Night’s WWE Raw

1. No Authority Figure Presence Again

Last week, neither authority figure showed up on SmackDown. It was the same on Raw, and there's only a watertight explanation for one of them.

Stephanie McMahon should be on the shelf for a while. Her character was tired and she got her comeuppance from Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania. Kurt Angle, the brand's GM, doesn't have the same excuse. Yes, he was part of the Greatest Royal Rumble, but that doesn't clarify why he missed Raw last night.

The announcers neglected to clue fans in on why Angle was posted missing, and he was only mentioned once or twice in passing.

If this signifies a change in format across the board from WWE, then it'll be embraced by those who feel the endless Commissioner/GM segments on Raw are pointless. Kurt can play General Manager without having to make every single match on-screen, after all.
