14 Times Really Weird Sh*t Went Down At WrestleMania 32

13. The New Day’s Entrance Was Far More Underwhelming Live

The audience at home saw The New Day, dressed in armour taken from Dragonball Z, emerge from a gigantic Booty-O’s box with massive fake cereal strewn across the stage. It. Was. Fantastic.

Unfortunately, the reality wasn’t quite so impressive. WhatCulture’s own Adam Blampied was there to witness the event live, and asks the world to note that the live audience saw something rather different: the New Day walking across the stage in full view of everyone to sneak in the back of the huge prop and pretend for benefit of the cameras that they’d been inside all along.

It’s not exactly WWE's usual seamless trapdoor shenanigans, is it? WWE have a David-Copperfieldesque history of hiding people under the ring, teleporting supernatural beasties in and out of the arena, and having the Undertaker sneak in and out of coffins and open graves like a huge, ginger ninja.

That history fell by the wayside on April 3rd 2016. Lazy move, production dudes. Lazy move.
