14 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (16 Oct)

11. Santana & Ortiz Get Squashy

Ortiz Santana Proud and Powerful
AEW/Lee South

It wasn't announced before the show, but the Inner Circle's Ortiz and Santana (Proud and Powerful?) wrestled the Beaver Boys of John Silver and Alex Reynolds on the undercard, crushing the overmatched duo in just a couple of minutes.

Reynolds was taken out on the outside early on. This left Silver all alone and the former LAX ran wild on him, showing off some of their fastest, most impactful offense en route to the inevitable victory, which came via Street Sweeper. That powerbomb/top rope Blockbuster looks so, so sweet.

There's not a lot to analyse here, given that it was a two-minute squash. Still, this was a fine introduction to Proud and Powerful in a two-on-two setting and everything it needed to be. Squashes are great.
