14 Ups & 3 Downs From NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard

8. The Garden

Madison Square Garden
NJPW/ROH

Madison Square Garden is a stunning sports venue that must be experienced in person to be truly appreciated, and it was absolutely the right place for NJPW and ROH to hold this landmark event.

This will sound like hyperbole to anyone who wasn't there, but it was like watching a great wrestling show inside a sporting museum. 'The World's Most Famous Arena' is a monument. It's an immaculate, evocative, and atmospheric building that doesn't just look great, but feels incredible too, and taking in the G1 Supercard in such surroundings was a delight.

The crowd were on fire throughout, the presentation was sublime, the views were great, and the seating comfortable. Really, the experience can't be faulted.
