14 Ups & 3 Downs From NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard

11. Realest Guys In The Room?

Enzo Amore and Big Cass "invaded" the G1 Supercard last night. You've probably heard the details now, but check out the video above for Michael Sidgwick and Simon Miller's live, in-the-moment coverage last night.

This was almost certainly a work. It was absolutely insane. Yes, it starred a controversial couple of wrestlers, and yes, there are valid concerns to how their run will play out, but this absolutely got over inside MSG.

The heat was nuts as soon as people figured out who'd jumped the barricade to assault the Briscoes, and that the wrestlers were instructed to legitimately beat the sh*t out of Enzo made it feel real. It looked like Mark Briscoe and Bully Ray were legitimately taking lumps out of him. It's hard to put into words just how hot the building got as a result of this, and that's why it can't be anything than an Up.

ROH will present this as a shoot. They apparently didn't stream or acknowledge it on the broadcast at all. Whether or not this is the right approach remains to be seen, but it got over in the building.
