14 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown Superstar Shake-Up

Downs...

3. Sasha & Bayley Were Right

The IIconics Billie Kay Peyton Royce

Apologise to Sasha Banks, because she was right about the Women's Tag Team Championships.

The IIconics holding the belts isn't a problem if they're booked like champions. They aren't, though: they're booked like jokes, and after losing to the thrown-together Bayley/Naomi partnership on Raw, they took another pinfall in another non-title bout on SmackDown.

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were presented as enhancement talents prior to the title win, but that should've changed when they took the straps. Though that isn't to say they needed to become a dominant duo overnight, how is anybody supposed to take these belts seriously when they're around the waists of two wrestlers who can't get the job done, particularly in weird eight-person bouts?
