14 Wrestlers Who Should Probably Regret Leaving WWE
10. Mick Foley
If Mick Foley knew then what he knows now... In 2008, The Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley ventured into the world of color commentary in WWE debuting at Backlash along side Michael Cole. Throughout his run as a commentator, Foley was paired with Jim Ross when Ross was surprisingly moved to Smackdown in an effort to create a new voice of WWE with Michael Cole at the helm of Raw. At the time, Mick didn't know that WWE was going to start him out on a commentating contract; which was a substantial amount of money less than his normal WWE appearance deal. As time went on, Foley became disenchanted by the constant badgering from Vince McMahon in his headphones throughout the broadcast. He started to understand the nuances and intricacies of what it takes to be a full-time WWE color commentator. Mick Foley soon left WWE and headed to TNA where he was the victim of strange creative circumstances and another fledgling run with an ECW reunion. If Mick Foley would have stayed with WWE, he may have continued a potentially great career as a broadcaster. Foley did return to WWE shortly after his TNA run came to an end and appeared numerous times on special occasions.
