Rumours of the Styles Clash being banned were firmly disproven on the night, as AJ hit the move on a hapless Curtis Axel to secure his first ever SmackDown victory. The Phenomenal One teased the move during his Royal Rumble debut, and almost hit it on Chris Jericho on Raw, but finally delivered his finisher at the third time of asking.
