CM Punk is desperate to fight in the UFC. He even quit WWE and personally sought out Dana White to press upon him his aspirations. But despite being signed to the company, he may never get to fight for the brand. His coach Duke Roufus has said he won't sign Punk off until he's satisfied, predicting that it could be the spring of 2016 before he's ready to fight. Turning 37 this year, and with a history of physical problems in WWE, Punk could end up just falling short of his dream. He wants to fight there, but this isn't pro wrestling, you need to be an elite level athlete to take part. Punk has never had a history of major sports. He's got basic jiu jitsu and conditioning experience from pro wrestling, but that's nothing in the face of UFC fighters. The UFC dream persisted in Punk for years. He's always been vocal on Twitter about how much he loves the sport. He even worked MMA style attacks into his pro wrestling work. Only time will tell if he can move from this list and on to the list of WWE stars who did fight in the UFC.
