4. Jumping Jax

Finally portrayed as having more brains than talent (when she's thus far looked to have little of both), Nia Jax smashing the sh*t out of Mickie James before repeating the feat on Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss was a smart bit of storytelling to avoid any shenanigans being the unlikely reason she couldn't wrestle the title away from 'The Goddess'.

Bliss got more offence than she really should have had in truth - few have managed to carry Nia to something lengthy and worthwhile, but have done so as plucky babyfaces against fearsome heels rather than attempting an unsympathetic cat-and-mouse game in reverse. Alexa's shortcuts were admirable, but the result was never in doubt and could have been wrapped in two minutes instead of the ten the pair received.

Nia Jax is simply not a rounded out performer for the position she's found herself, but was worthy of commendation for the few times she showed genuine fire against her real-life best bud. Their screaming match was an enjoyable easter egg too. If Jax is to succeed in her new role, more of this will be needed and quickly. Working for a while longer with Bliss may extract those A.W.O.L emotions.
