Scott Hall's attitude to the wrestling business during his WCW run was nothing short of appalling. He couldn't have given a damn about the business, turning up to shows drunk on some occasions. Any pride he had once taken for in-ring performance was dead, all he cared about was the money... and he was getting a lot of it! He'd left the WWF in 1996, because they wouldn't pay him any more than $250,000. He was happy working for Vince, alongside his good friends Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash, but he believed the money simply wasn't good enough. So he put money above his buddies and ring career, instead opting to talk to WCW's Eric Bischoff for a deal with less dates and more money. Nash later followed him down this same route, but more on him later! Hall got $750,000 from WCW, which was up to $1.6 million before the end of that decade. He was barely even working, and it was like the second he got the big money deal, he lost all interest in being a wrestler.
