15 Amazing Pro Wrestling NOAH Matches You Must See Before You Die

10. Kenta Kobashi & Go Shiozaki Vs. Kensuke Sasaki & Katsuhiko Nakajima - NOAH 3rd Great Voyage '05

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVPwXXJc_bk This almost 5-Star match had the perfect mix of different wrestling styles. On one hand, you had Shiozaki and Nakajima, two rookies that were eager to demonstrate to their mentors what they could do. They were smaller and lighter, so their offensive styles were more geared towards speed and high-flying maneuvers. In contrast, their respective mentors, Kobashi and Sasaki, were power wrestlers through-and-through. Both of them were built like tanks, and they both gave and took considerable punishment during this match. Sasaki delivered devastating lariats with his tree limb-like arms, while Kobashi hit some of the most painful chops ever seen in a wrestling ring. In fact, Kobashi€™s chops were so damaging that they gave Sasaki noticeable purple welts on his chest and shoulder. But that didn€™t stop Sasaki from continuing the match and delivering one painful lariat after another. What makes this match so special is that the action never stops. By the 15-minute mark or so, you€™re treated to one crazy spot after another. From a series of insane missile dropkicks, to a German Suplex into the turnbuckles, to Sasaki using his own partner as a weapon, to a legendary chop battle between Sasaki and Kobashi, this match manages to keep viewers watching despite the language barrier that non-Japanese fans might encounter. So even if these names might be unknown to you, the action in the ring will more than make up for it.
