At SummerSlam 2013, reigning WWE Champion John Cena went into battle against a flaming hot Daniel Bryan. Bryan had spent the summer creating the groundswell of support, after breaking out of Team Hell No, which would later become The Yes Movement. In his quest to prove he wasnt the weak link between himself and Kane, he often wrestled handicap matches against immeasurable odds, and found himself staring down John Cena at the end of the summer. Nonetheless, to begin this feud, John Cena literally came out, and picked Daniel Bryan as his opponent. It was almost if Daniel Bryan won a lottery to face Cena which made it a bit weird, but the match would erase any trepidation about how it came about. Furthermore, it was a match of the year candidate by any calculation. Daniel Bryan defeated John Cena clean with no interference, and debuted his new running knee finisher to win his first WWE Championship. The match ending was so shocking; it was almost unbelievable at the time. After the match came a great celebration that led to a cash-in by Randy Orton, that kicked off the story that would lead him to the main event of WrestleMania 30, and seal Bryans place as an all-time legend. Who was the crowd cheering? Daniel Bryan
