15 Best Ever Storyteller Wrestlers

11. Eddie Guerrero

We€™re nearing the tenth anniversary of Eddie Guerrero€™s passing, and the wounds still feel as fresh as they did when it was announced back in 2005. He left behind a tremendous legacy; he could adapt to any style in the ring, hopping between cruiserweight and heavyweight rivalries as if it made no difference at all. He had this panache about him that knew no bounds, and could tell a story in the ring as an underdog, or a dominant heel, and it would be equally as enthralling. One of the best Eddie Guerrero matches came at the 2004 No Way Out PPV, where Eddie would finally get an opportunity at the WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar, after winning a 15-man Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender. As one would expect, Lesnar dominated the bulk of the match, but the crowd really got behind 'Latino Heat'. Eddie€™s will and desperation to finally capture the title he€™d waited years to attain really showed, as he remained resilient despite Lesnar laying a beating on him. In typical fashion, Eddie would lie, cheat and steal his way to victory, capitalising on a spear from Goldberg and a well-placed WWE Championship to nail a Frog Splash and capture the title. The celebration that followed still brings a tear to your eye.
