15 Best Instrumental Entrance Themes In WWE History
3. Stone Cold (Glass Shatters/ I Won't Do What You Tell Me)
Just hearing the phrase “Glass shatters” is enough to fuel roaring flames of nostalgia in some fans so it stands to reason that the actual iconic theme has become synonymous with some of the most popular and era defining moments in WWE history.
The entrance theme to arguably the greatest modern superstar is preceded by that famous shatter that made it seem like Austin himself had broken the screen of your TV and was entering your home to entertain and Stunner anything that moved.
The actual theme consists of a pounding riff with splashing cymbals and a whammy pedal infused lead guitar track that seems to chaotically strike out, like the musical equivalent to Austin’s own take on the Lou Thez Press.
Many claim that Austin’s theme is in fact a slight reworking of Razor Ramon’s “Bad Boy” theme and even WWE have hinted to this the case in recent years. Both themes owe a lot to the Eagle’s track Those Shoes as the rhythm pattern was lifted almost verbatim.
