15 Best Instrumental Entrance Themes In WWE History

11. Mankind (Schizophrenic)

Mick Foley could have three themes on this list but, unlike the Royal Rumble in 1998, we only have room for one face of Foley here. The theme that gets the nod is the one first used for Mankind, 'Schizophrenic'. A truly beautiful piece of music, this theme is a symphony of projected pain and turmoil that helped sell the unsettling and intriguing first iteration of the character.

Foley himself has talked about his surprise when he first heard the theme and its engrossing melancholy. It acts as a sombre accompaniment to an unhinged superstar hell bent on destruction. In a rare move, Mankind would use a different theme for his exit after a match, only making this entrance version more unique. Slow moving smooth strings and a deep timpani beat give it an almost ceremonial feel and added that extra layer of immersion when it was used.
