15 Best Instrumental Entrance Themes In WWE History

12. Randy Savage (Pomp And Circumstance)

During his time in WWE, Randy Savage would use an extract from Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstances Marches No. 1 in D as his entrance theme. The decision paid off as it gave Savage a majestic and unique flair that he took and ran with for the rest of his career. Kids may not have known Elgar’s music and wouldn’t hear the song in another setting until they perhaps graduated to it later in life; for wrestling fans, it was simply 'Macho Man's theme'.

Other stars had the cheesy guitar riffs and processed drum beats but the intricate string and brass work of Savage’s theme set him aside from the rest, telling fans that he was someone that you simply couldn’t ignore. It's the soundtrack to an unforgettable career with era defining moments and matches all under the majestic canopy of true Pomp and Circumstance.
