Some might say NXT superstars stole the show at San Diego Comic Con this year. Well, maybe not the superstars themselves, but the announcement of their action figures sure got collectors talking and none was bigger than Shinsuke Nakamura.

With Bayley, Asuka, and American Alpha already discussed, there were even some additional NXT action figures that, while popular in their own right, didn't quite make the top 15 of the weekend's best reveals. Stars like Alexa Bliss, Austin Aries and The Revival will also see their first figures released as part of Basic series 68, 70 and Battle Pack 45, respectively, but it was The King Of Strong Style that collectors were clamoring for most.

Although a prototype was not present, Mattel revealed a grayscale render but the accuracy of the figure appears to be on point. From the face and head sculpt to the inclusion of two vests/jackets, the Shinsuke Nakamura figure seems to be getting the full and proper treatment.

Whether it is released as part of the regular Elite series, the Defining Moments line, or some other series altogether remains to be seen, but when it is released, expect it to be one of Mattel's hottest selling action figures of 2017.
