In the not-so-underground world of wrestling figure collectors, there's been perhaps no more popular "custom" figure made from various other figures and parts during the past year than AJ Styles.

Collectors will take components of numerous other action figures to create their own customized figure, usually to create a superstar that isn't signed to WWE or a former superstar that is unlikely ever to be produced by Mattel (e.g. Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, etc.). Finally, fans that aren't of the customizing type need only wait a little longer for one of the most anticipated superstar action figures of the year, The Phenomenal One, to be available in WWE Mattel form.

With his popular black-and-blue attire, AJ Styles is being produced in both Basic and Elite forms. Basic series 68 is currently scheduled to feature the former TNA flagship performer and is likely to hit store shelves before the Elite version.

Elite 47 is the line in which the more articulated version of Styles will be released, but that's unlikely to hit stores until early 2017.
