Like Bret Hart, Kane’s another with four defeats at SummerSlam on his CV but, again, like Hart he compensates that with a decent amount of victories, too.

In terms of the losses, two of them came in recent years after he was beaten by Daniel Bryan in 2012 shortly before the days of Team Hell No and then the following year he succumbed to Bray Wyatt in a Ring of Fire match-up.

There was also the surrendering of the tag team titles, alongside X-Pac, to Big Show and the Undertaker in 1999, while way back in 1995 he fell victim to the aforementioned Hart under his previous Isaac Yankeem DDS gimmick (which I’m still in two minds about whether or not it should even count.

Either way, he atones for this record to some extent with his current haul of six wins, including a successful World Heavyweight Title defense against Rey Mysterio in 2010 and a WWF/WCW Tag Team Championship unification triumphy alongside his kayfabe brother The Undertaker in 2001.

Still, four defeats is four defeats, although he's not the only one with four strikes in the L column...
